Play with friends

The Steam discussions around the demo keep coming back to one problem: the game is built for a group, and a lot of people do not have one ready. This page sticks to what Steam lists, then says plainly where the in-game menus are still unknown.

Checked 22 October 2026.

  • Online co-op for 2–4 players. That range is in the short description and in the Early Access answers. Three players is inside the range they advertise. Whether a 3-player lobby feels finished is not something this guide has verified in person.
  • One shared raft. Everyone’s direction, timing, and gas power affect the same vehicle.
  • Windows, through Steam. The platform flags are Windows yes, macOS no, Linux no.
  • Each person in the session needs a running copy. For now that copy can be the free demo. After Early Access unlocks, plan on the paid app 5117550 unless Steam says the demo still matches.
  • Controllers and keyboard. The Early Access text names Xbox and DualSense. Categories also include full controller support, DualShock, and keyboard only. The actual on-screen prompts are not published.
  • Team Race is not in the Early Access build. Don’t look for a separate race mode on day one.
  • Stable broadband is called out in the system requirements.

There is no shared/split-screen tag, no Remote Play Together tag, and no console version on the store page. A claim that the game is local co-op or 8-player is not backed by the current store text. Older blurbs that floated extra competitive modes are not what the Early Access answers say today.

The store page does not document the invite button names. These steps are ordinary Steam practice, not a screenshot-verified UI path:

  1. Everyone installs the same app. All on the demo, or later all on the Early Access build. Mixing them is an untested guess.
  2. Be Steam friends, and be online.
  3. Agree the language you will call directions in before you launch. The raft does not wait for a translation.
  4. Start the game and use whatever invite or join flow it offers. If you find the real menu labels, they belong in an update of this page.
  5. Use voice if you can. The developer describes timing as the whole problem. Text chat will lag behind a turn.

If you need people, use the matchmaking board or the GamesMrkt Discord. The Discord link is the one on the game’s SteamDB social list as of 22 October 2026. It is their server, not this site’s.

The store lists Family Sharing. SteamDB, the same day, said this unreleased app is excluded from Family Sharing until release (“exfgls: this game has not yet been released”).

Even after that exclusion lifts, Family Sharing does not let two people play one license at the same time. This game wants 2–4 people online together. Budget one entitled account per person in the raft.

There is no public list of the game’s error strings. The checks below are general, and they are labeled that way:

  • Confirm both clients are on the demo, or both are on the full game. Don’t assume they share progress. Carry-over from demo to Early Access is unknown.
  • Confirm both PCs are Windows and online.
  • Restart Steam and the game once before you start debugging routers.
  • A VPN, strict NAT, or a dropped connection can break any online co-op. The store just says broadband and a stable connection. It does not publish ports.

If it still fails, the developer’s support mail on the store page is [email protected], and they say they read Steam discussions and Discord. That address is for the game, not for this fan site.

SteamDB: 29 October 2026, 17:00 UTC. That is 30 October 2026, 01:00 in Asia/Taipei. The store’s calendar date is 29 October 2026.

Yes. App 5208630, released 8 October 2026. On 22 October 2026 the demo store page showed Very Positive from 390 reviews, with the page text putting that at 88% positive. The full game had no user reviews because it was not out.

2–4, online, one raft. Solo is not a listed mode.

Not announced. The store API says the full game is not free. The genre list also includes Free To Play. GamesMrkt says Early Access will be cheaper than the later full release, and that Early Access owners receive the full release without paying again. Use the Steam page for the number when it exists.

Not on the current feature list. Windows only. Anyone offering an APK is not pointing at the Steam game.

No console build is listed.

Until someone checks the demo and writes the real bindings, keep calls short and boring:

  • Name the direction before the gap, not during it.
  • One caller. A second correction at the same time is how the store’s “wrong way” failure happens.
  • If the raft is already sideways, stop adding power until you agree which way is forward.

That is a reading of the store description, not a route. Course-by-course notes live under Levels, and they are still placeholders.
